Many of us have received excellent treatment from OCD therapists, whether psychiatrists, pyschologists, nurses or other. But what is the government doing to ensure that, as those professionals retire, they pass on their invaluable knowledge and expertise? As a more general issue it would be consoling (I wouldn't want to say 'reassuring!') to know what mechanisms are in place in the NHS to make sure those now entering the profession under IAPPT know about OCD and how to treat it.
